POTTERY SERIES - CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS

I absolutely love raku-fired pottery. Since I don’t own a kiln, nor am I a pottery artist, trying to capture the essence of raku pottery in a painting was my goal.   The texture is created with acrylic mediums.  I added frames in some of the images to give an idea of how they could look if framed (these paintings are sold unframed).

Each of the three paintings are on 18” x 24" x 1.5" museum quality gallery wrapped canvas.  I used asphaltum and bronze colored acrylic paint only, mixing them to achieve a very earth-rich color and feeling.  $1,300 - SOLD
