Together Forever - This teapot and pitcher diptych painting is done in steel grey, black and white to look like raku-fired pottery (I absolutely love raku-fired pottery. Since I don’t own a kiln, nor am I a pottery artist, trying to capture the essence of them in a painting was my goal).    Each of the the paintings are on 20” x 20" x 1.5" museum-quality gallery wrapped canvas.  I used steel grey, black and white colored acrylic paint only, mixing them to achieve an elegant color and feeling.  The texture is created with acrylic mediums. I added frames in some of the images to give an idea of how they could look if framed (they are sold unframed).
